Depression is not always so easily recognizable. When people are depressed they do not always feel sad and cry a lot. Sometimes people are irritable and they react with angry outbursts. In some cases people believe that they are just stressed out and that it will past. They do not recognize that what they actually feel is depression and that they are in need of professional assistance... until they feel so bad that they think no one can help them.

Identifying and understanding your feelings and behaviors is the first step in coping with depression and taking back control of your life.
