I first became interested in helping others when I was in high school. Back then, I was the person my friends always came to for suggestions, advice or just someone to talk to. Fast forward 10 years and I've started making a career out of helping others. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology in 2012, My Masters in Counseling in 2016, and am currently enrolled in a PhD program for Educational Psychology. Along the way, I have spent many years working with individuals suffering from chronic mental illness in a variety of hospital, residential and outpatient settings providing support, guidance and crisis intervention. I have also received my certification as a National Board Certified Counselor and am currently working in a private therapy practice working on earning hours towards my license.
