It's dark, but there is light
Maybe if you're reading this you're having a bad day. I have bad days all the time. But not all of them.
Everyone deals with depression differently. Everyone experiences depression differently. When I have a bad day it's often like being in a boat, on a calm clear lake. Below me is darkness. A hole in the lake bottom that seems to just sink into forever. I'm in that boat and I'm feeling that there is no way I could row away from that darkness before it consumes me. Before I'm swallowed forever.
But on days like that I remind myself that there are also days of light. Days when I feel like "it's not so bad".
Hang on, my friend. There is light.
