Depression and lack of support
Members of my family have suffered from depression for years. I have found that it is one of the hardest diseases to diagnose and treat. The worst thing about it is that people around you just not able to understand what you are going through. Even when you try and explain they just don't get it. Mostly only someone who has either gone through it themselves or a know a close family member know better. The lack of support in itself becomes a source of depression. Nevertheless, I want the readers to not let this get to them and try and remember that there are many many people out there that do understand and empathize. Sometimes all is takes is for you to look around you and you will notice that your own friends may be suffering from the same problem. Reaching out to others will also help you look beyond yourself and that in itself will enable you to get better. Pick up the phone or log in or meet up. Trust me every contact will help you get better.
