Lack of Focus
People often complain about lack of focus and attention at workplaces which gets even more difficult to cope with because of dull surroundings. Offices have taken up the shape of factories with workers coming in day after day, performing the same tasks and leaving back. Often this gets very depressive and stressful so how do we tackle this dullness at work place. The most sought after way is to improve the ambience of your workstation by pasting posters that motivate and stashing around candies that you like. But this does not appeal to many so there are other ways that you can give a try to.
One such way is to start having meaningful and healthy relations with your colleagues and keep communicating with them on a regular basis. You can also plan out socials like birthday parties or sports hangouts, etc with them to move beyond workspace relations.
One way is to keep taking short breaks and indulge in short activities during this break like maybe watching funny or inspiring videos, solve puzzles, etc.
Another way for you would be to set goals for the day and challenge yourself to them. This will also help you deal with any work related stress and improve your productivity at work.
Apart from these, just remember to keep stress levels at a check. Try not to pile up your work. Keep work related activities at work and not mix domains of home and work. Bosses can be harsh sometimes but try to stay in their good books and you shall be fine. Finally, remember to treat everyone with kindness and affection. :)
